We were asked by London & Partners to develop the creative branding for the inaugural London Business Awards ceremony 2019. It had to celebrate the successes of companies proud to call London their home, as well as London businesses who have achieved notable international expansion.

My role was to work with the branding team to create a versatile website and experience that provided information on judges and nominees before the event and could be quickly updated by the client post-event to include details of the award winners and images and videos from the night.

On your marks!

The website needed to be turned around very quickly, so I had to work fast! I conducted a quick discovery workshop and put together an architecture, navigational structure and fleshed out some wireframes of key areas to create a starting point.

From here I started to design the website UI and took the colour palette that had been developed and used specific colours to represent the key areas of the site - judges, nominations, awards night etc.

Building blocks

From the UI designs I could then identify a library of modular components that could be used like building blocks by the client to keep the website updated when necessary.

Bold and confident

The result was a bold and confident website that we could hand over to the client to be updated by their digital team with announcements, details of the award winners and more.
